1. Teams channel meetings are saved to the Microsoft Teams site under the channel's, not the personal users, Files tab in the Recordings folder.

2. Teams meetings that do not use a Teams channel — such as scheduling a Teams meeting via Outlook or a recurring meeting — are saved in OneDrive. This is the most common source and location of videos. The person who selected the "start recording" option in the meeting, usually the professor, has the video in his or her OneDrive account in the Recordings folder. If your videos are not syncing these may not show up on your local folder.

To make sure that your recordings are saved properly, and not on your computer directly, please follow these steps. As there are multiple ways to do this please choose the way that is most appropriate for you.

For videos already saved to your computer follow these steps to upload to OneDrive and share from your account.

1. Log into http://email.yhc.edu with your YHC credentials.

2. Open the app launcher in the upper, left-hand corner of the screen.

3. Select OneDrive from the list of apps.

4. Open the folder where you want to upload the videos to. Typically, this would be a Recordings folder, by default, but you may have different ones set up for specific classes.

5. Click on the upload button at the top of the page, and select Files.

6. A file browser will open in a new window. Navigate to where your file is saved, select it, and click on the open button.

7. Your video will begin uploading. To see its progress, click on the Uploading button in the upper, right-hand corner of the screen.

8. You will then see the progress of the upload of your video.

9. Your video will appear in your list of files when it is done uploading.

10. If you want to share the file, select the checkbox next to the video’s name.

11. Then, click the share button.

12. Enter the email address of the person you want to share the file with if only one person. You can also write a message, if you would like, and click send when finished.

13. You can also select the option for Anyone with the link to create a link that any student can use and access. Click on "People you specify can edit" option and change this to "Anyone with the link" and click Apply.  Then the box will refresh and in the bottom left is an option for "Copy link". This is the link that you will post on Moodle, or email to students and is a direct link to the video.

For videos already in OneDrive follow these steps.

1. Open the blue cloud OneDrive folder on your computer, or the browser version from within your Office365 account as directed above.

2. Find the video that you want. If you recorded a Teams meeting for a specific class it should already be in your Recordings folder for the majority of newer videos. Older videos may be saved and accessed at Microsoft Stream website and may need to be downloaded to your computer and then uploaded to OneDrive following the above linked directions. This website can be found at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/microsoft-stream

3. If you opened the file using the blue cloud OneDrive icon you will be in a file explorer folder looking at your videos. Right click on the video that you want to copy, select copy, and then open the folder that you want the video to be in.

4. In the new folder, right click and select the option to Paste the video.

5. If you want to share the file, select the checkbox next to the video’s name.

6. Then, click the share button.

7. Enter the email address of the person you want to share the file with if only one person. You can also write a message, if you would like, and click send when finished.

We would strongly advise you to upload and organize all of your videos into your OneDrive account. This is a secure location, the links will remain active, and this way you can make sure that your videos are where and how you want them organized and loaded into Moodle as necessary.
